In his biography of Pope Pius XII, Crown of Glory, Alden Hatch says that Pope Pius received the papal tiara as a helmet: he was leading the Church into battle in a world at war. Today we are at war again: the spiritual war is intensifying. Bring back the Triregnum (only not Paul VI's, as that one is really ugly)!
