Regardless of what the homosexualist movement may say about the supposed failure of reparative therapy for people who posess same sex attraction, I can loudly affirm that my husband and I are living proof that God can and does heal people with this affliction. I struggled with SSA for around 19 years before it miraculously went away and my husband thankfully sought healing through therapy and through the sacraments and he too was healed. I suspect there are many more like us out there but they don't make themselves known because they want to keep this part of their lives anonymous.
By saying this, I do not claim that every person who experiences SSA will obtain full healing - this is at our Lord's discretion. But healing is possible, especially through a commitment to prayer and the sacraments. I thank God that he has given us both this deliverance.
