My patron saint. This place is on my bucket list.
Hello STM,I have NOT but wish I could ! pax et bonum Joan
I have never done it. But I have read that starting in Sarria, is the shortest way , that still allows you to get the compostela ( credential that says you made the pilgrimage). Also there is the Camino Portuguese, which begins in Porto, and takes about 2 weeks. Hope this helps.
Ian, great and thanks! Porto sounds good as well.
I have done the last couple of miles and paid my respects at the tomb of St James. More seriously, you should talk to @Frererabit, and see http://brotherlapin.com
Bruvver, will do and nice that you did that-nice also that you can make serious comments. God bless you always.
Your welcome. There are several good sites/forums in regards to the Camino. http://www.santiago-compostela.net/http://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/I remember seeing a photo of the cathedral several years ago, and thought to myself I need to get there some day. Then I found out about the Camino, and since I love to walk .... well someday.
